Issue: Keyboard and mouse input is not registered, when using a Teamviewer session on a host running VMWare Horizon.
A few days ago I was confronted with a simple yet annoying occurence. I was using a VMWare Horizon session and a colleague needed to input some credentials in my session. On the same host which ran the Horizon session I started up Teamviewer to allow my colleague to connect to my host and by this use my Horizon session. The connection succeeded, however he was not able to input data, but was just a mere viewer.
After some time I came across the solution to this issue. First make sure your Teamviewer and the one of your guest are updated to the latest release. Next open up the settings of the Teamviewer host, navigate to the remote control tab and uncheck the box send key combinations. Your guest won’t be able to send special key combinations but is now able to use his input methods.
Let your guest reconnect with a new session and give it another try. In my case this solved the issue and my colleague was able to use keyboard and mouse inside the VMWare Horizon session.
