That is usually how this starts. Something breaks, the search turns up a
forum thread from 2013 with no replies, and the only way out is to work
it out yourself. Since 2016 I've written down whatever I had to work out
— the fix, what it cost, and the parts that didn't work.
Kubernetes, CI and Java
come from the DevOps job at a bank; Home Assistant, ESP32s and
half-broken gadgets come from after it. These days an AI agent will often
work the problem out before I would have written it up, which may make a
lot of this obsolete — so more of my time now goes into the
projects I build instead.
